Garage Loan/Courtsey Car Excess Insurance

My car was in for repair today and I was offered a loan car for £12. It had a £500 excess attached which appears to be pretty normal these days. I have Excess Protection on my John Lewis Motor policy for my own car, I called them up to see if this covered garage loan cars but it only covers my own vehicle policy. I also have Hire Car excess cover so I called them but this only covers cars from normal rental car companies.

Does anyone have any recommendation as to which companies provide garage loan/courtesy cars excess cover, either stand alone or in their normal motor policy?
