Motorcycle purchase not as advertised

Hope someone can point me in the right direction. My husband has recently bought a 2nd hand motorbike from a dealer. On his first ride out, it broke down and to cut a long story short there have been faults found and things that are not as advertised eg there was little MOT left when a new MOT was advertised. A slow puncture when perfect tyres were advertised. Anyway the dealer (under duress and a lot of mithering) agreed for some work to be done at his specified garage however we have still had to pay for a specific part service (when FSH was advertised) and has also had to have 2 days off work unpaid (husband is SE) and had to travel in order to take and collect the bike so we have nearly £500 out of pocket expenses. Can you please tell me what my next step is to recoup this loss? Thanks

Your claim for provable losses would be via the Small Claims Court.Or via a soliciter .

Perfect tyres, is that a brand? Never seen an advert state perfect tyres.

Seen new or almost new etc but never perfect. Did he collect the puncture on his first ride out?
