Hi Jane! Just a question as to whether you have received your paper copy of your mortgage yet? Just trying to gauge how long it takes for it to come in post haha! Hope solicitors searches are going okay as well!!

    Hi Liloz
Paperwork came through post last Wednesday, quicker than I expected.
Not heard anything from solicitor yet I’m guessing they’re waiting on searches to come back.

I came across this thread due to looking for advise on mortgages with Aldermore - it's lovely to see you have both had your offers! So pleased for you both. I'm currently in the dreaded waiting scenario.

Our valuation is due to take place tomorrow - Friday 18th. It's been a couple of weeks since we applied for our Mortgage. They had a few queries on my partners previous finance loans (all been paid off, and paid off early) and they had a bit of a back log. Our MA was confident throughout though.

How long roughly will it take for us to hear back from the Valuation? I'm so eager, due to starting the whole process over 2 months ago!!
  • We got our offer approx 10 days after valuation but MA told me they were very busy
  • Got an aldermore offer out today for someone from this website. 10 days from application to offer. Quicker than Santander

  • Anyone else getting a mortgage with aldermore know how long they're taking? I sent my full application a week ago and they haven't instructed the valuation yet and I am going bonkers waiting for a decision.
