Well we’ve been told our valuation hasn’t got a date yet according to mortgage advisor and she said it was down to them waiting for this extra information. Guess it’s just a waiting game hopefully will know more by Friday, when I ring for an update.

I think it’s down to a recent change in salary and the fact we are being relocated for the job. Which mortgage advisor does know about. Hopefully things will start moving now as our seller has no chain and is already chasing us to find out where we are at.

Just be hones with your seller.

My seller had been let down before, but really appreciated the honesty from me about timescales and expectations etc. Hell i told him, its likely I wont be able to get a mortgage, 4 weeks later, I had the offer.

So the frustration continues... so had been chasing MA for information to be told this morning they were taking 4 days to check info but had received employment reference.. had said that we were still waiting on valuation date. I have now received an email from MA to say valuation was carried out and accepted on the 20th August?! How did she not know that this morning when asked for an update? And was also told that they were re requesting employment reference as they needed some more information.... very frustrating that I’m being told one thing and then within an hour I’m told the complete opposite. Hopefully my employers HR can send the new information ASAP if that is all we are waiting for

So just another update for anyone that might want to see it in the future update as of 11/9/19 is all documents are now received and have been passed to underwriters. MA is going to chase on Friday to make sure it’s been looked at and passed for final checks and then hopefully we should hear something by the back end of next week.... fingers crossed 🤞🏽
  • Hi Liloz
Just wondered if you’ve heard anything yet?
My valuation is booked for Monday 16/9 we only know that as the surveyor rang my husband instead of estate agents! So I rang EA to ask if they’d been in contact.

Unfortunately our update this morning was that they needed more information from employer as the reference doesn’t match the p60 due to a pay rise so having to wait for employer to send even more information over! And that can take up to 10 working days so wanting to cry at the minute 😔 other than that they’ve said everything’s fine it’s just a waiting game now 😔 hopefully once your valuation is done it won’t take too long but I wouldn’t hold your breath haha x
  • Valuation done today, EA rang to confirm and said they were ringing my solicitor for draft contract!
Spoke to my MA about paying search fees as we have held off due to wether we get the mortgage and he said wait just to make sure valuation comes back ok, I’m sure it will be fine but I just feel like im in limbo!
