Hi, several years back, my husband was persuaded by me to ring up about the ppi overdraft charges that were put on his bank account which had been going on for years. He didn’t know why but thought the payments were a necessary part of getting his overdraft. He spoke to someone in Ireland about his Barclays account. They took his name and number and account number and was told he would be hearing from them. The following week, they put over £7800+ straight into his account which was terrific. We then proved through old statements that they owed from a further time period but it was obviously happening before that date but we couldn’t prove it.
As I said, the first sum of money had no letter of offer. They just put it back. Now I am wondering whether we should query this lack of offer from Barclays! Has anyone else experienced this? What should we do!:

You have 6 months to appeal a decision. So, you are out of time.

    Nothing.

And it doesn't matter anyway as the redress method is defined by the FCA. There is no offer and haggle.
