roxio slideshow dvd

hello..

anybody any experience of Roxio EMC 9 slideshows?...

would you expect a DVD based slideshow created on above to do the following?

a) preview prior to burning = picture quality fine
b) test burned DVD on PC = picture quality poor/blurred
c) test DVD on 21" CRT TV = picture quality fine
d) client plays on different TV (possibly LCD/plasma) = picture quality poor/blurred

trying to satisfy all circumstances with a high quality picture.

thanks for advice

Im pretty sure that when you create a slideshow DVD the photos are optimised and the resolution is changed in order to get maximum storage... Some products will actually let you back up the original images so you can have high quality prints as the ones used for the show will be lower quality.

Only thing is with different resolutions in LCD/Plasma as well as large screen sizes you may never find a happy medium that will work good on all... Trial and error would be best bet
