What are the best places to get my credit files from with all my credit data.
I have been told there are 3 different credit agency’s and would like to know which apps to use that are free or give a free trail so I can sort myself out.
Thanks in advance

ClearScore = Equifax
MSE Credit Club = Experian
CreditKarma = TransUnion
All three are free0 -
As above.
Look at the data on the files - accounts, dates, balances etc.
Ignore any scores or ratings.0 -
Brilliant. I will get on it and have a look.
Also will the debts be duplicated on some of the credit files.0 -
What do you mean duplicated?
If a lender or DCA reports to more than one of the CRA's then it will show on whichever ones they report to.0 -
Every lender will report to one or more of the CRAs so you may find that some of your information is on multiple of your reports and other information is only reported on a single report - hence why it is important to get copies of your data from all 3 CRAs. The CRAs (Experian, Equifax and TransUnion) all directly provide your data for free in their statutory report, otherwise the services in post 2 are also free and provide automated regular updates instead of having to manually request your data every month.0

Hello!
I never hear many people mention this one, but if you bank with Halifax they offer a credit checker! It lists accounts, credit worthiness etc. and it’s free! So it might be worth checking out if your a customer!0 -
