Grant of Probate - Mis-spelt Name

Hi
My wife is one of the executors of her late farther's will (mother preceded him), and we have now received grant of probate.
The Grant of Probate letter has mis-spelt my wife's name slightly, adding an 'e' on the end of her surname. For example, Clark has been spelt Clarke.
Anyone with any experience of the same and, if we should ask the probate office to correct and re-issue?

It happens. Contact them and ask for it to be re-issued as someone will pick up on it later and cause problems.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0

Have just rang them and they have said we need to send the letters back to the originating probate address, adding a covering letter (with corrections) and they will re-issue. Had hoped they might have just re-issued.... ho hum.Personal Responsibility - Sad but True

Hi When I sent the paperwork to the Probate Registry ,when they returned the Grant Of Probate fortunately I had recognised on the grant the address had been entered incorrect. All the copies were sent back along with the original and within 10 days they returned the amended Grants, with a note of apology

A good solicitor would spot the mistake, however minor. A couple of weeks getting it corrected will save many more weeks of worry and expense.0

I had similar earlier this year - a letter was missed out of my surname. Returned documents to the Probate office, and they corrected it - very quickly. I was worried that I may go back into the queue!
Must admit, I was more disappointed with my solicitor, as they should have spotted it on the paperwork. On everything that I saw it was spelt correctly.2021 - mission declutter and clean - 0/20210
