Damart 08712009000, https://www.damart.co.uk/

Damart has a costly phone number, they kept my partner on about various things and the total cost was £8.18 while trying to arrange the return of an item, the return postage was - £3.00.

That's the last time we use them, free delivery Ha Ha!

Your wife spent AN HOUR on the phone to an 0871 number ???!!!
Surely this falls into the 'should have known better' category ?

Try looking on the Saynoto0800 website.

Generally, if you look properly on any retailer's website there will be an alternative number. Or Damart has a Contact Us link, fill in your details and they will contact you.

There you go - no drama!

  • Not sure I get the joke, free delivery doesn't equal free returns :)

I think that does catch some people out- for some reason they equate free delivery with free return postage- which, as you point out, is an entirely different thing.

No it doesn't, I always check out what the return of goods would be and weigh that up against do I really want said item.

I personally had a bad experience with them, when I dealt with them on behalf of an elderly neighbour some years ago. They were appalling.

Numerous other threads about them on the forum ,plus one ex employee who says the same.

One bad experience and you consider them appalling?
The link you provide is 12 and a half years old, hardly a good pointer as to how they may be now.

Anyway, we all know that people tend to leave reviews when something goes wrong rather than when it goes okay yet 69% of reviews on Trustpilot are Great and Excellent.
