Evening
Thoughts to all who need them. Good day for me, had to go to a meeting and lunch was provided, so no making a pack up this morning. DS cooked dinner this evening which was lovely. I’m about to clean my car as hopefully I’m getting a new one at the weekend and the old one will be traded in. It’s not a brand new car but it’s new to me and a lot newer than my existing one. It’s also cheaper to tax and insure so another plus. Ive been saving for a while as I knew Current one would need replacing and hopefully the new one will give me as much good service. I’m switching from diesel to petrol so a bit different there too. I’m getting a better deal trading than selling privately. Not much ms going on here this evening but tomorrow’s another day. I’m really enjoying catching up on everyone’s news and hope to continue to do so.Thoughts to all. Mrs D.

Evening all ( bobs up and down Dixon like
)
Apologies for my late post but we have been in the garden all day and guess what ........ the fence panels are all up :j:j. I now need to level the ground, put down some weed control fabric and cover the area with chippings. I also need to put down some slabs to put the green bins on, but these things will have to wait for a while. Dad turned up this morning to " help " but couldn't lift, bend or breathe :eek: so he spent most of the time sitting on the patio. Never mind it's the thought that counts and he was in a happy, jovial mood, so that was great :T. He stayed for lunch and his tea and has only just gone home. He found out that the family next door are moving after Xmas ( he could talk a glass eye to sleep but he gets all the news :cool: ) so we will have an empty house each side of us for a while, unless Joan's son puts hers up for sale. There is zero chance of her ever coming back as she's really deteriorated and she knows no one these days. I find that's very sad as she was always a vibrant lady and a bit marmite, but we only had one spat in over 30 years and got on well really
Now Mr Fix It is kna**ered and yawning his head off and I'm now sofa sitting for the rest of the evening.
Good luck to all those with GP or dental appointments, although you've probably been and come back by now :rotfl:
I shall send gentle hugs to taff and Dad, Gers and Mum, Mehefin and the gee-gees.
Hugs too are going to anyone who wants or needs one and if you really need one, I'll make it a great big bear hug !
Dumpling wow ! well done on the 13lb loss. Hope all goes well for Lilly tonight.
AOD yes it is bedtime, now off you go to Gwely
I'm going to shut up now 'cos I'm only waffling and spouting nonsense, as usual :rotfl:
Take care all
nan xx
PS forgot to say hello to all the newbies !Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently0
