The Best PPI Claim Companies Have Special Arrangements In Place

Hi All,

On the PPI Claims and Advice website I saw this,

“When you’re doing your research to find the best PPI claim company, check that they have negotiated with the main banks to give their clients privileges that individuals unfortunately don’t get when claiming on their own.”

Is that true?

No CMC has negotiated any such "privileges".

CMCs are simply third party companies out for personal profit only.

Why would the Banks negotiate anything at all with them?

CMCs have no such special arrangements.

CMCs use the exact same free-of-charge complaints process that you would use if you did it yourself. It would be a breach of FCA rules to allow one method to have preferential means compared to others.

It would be extremely foolish to use a company and pay them to do exactly what you would do for free.
But they do like to imply they have special powers or a magic wand because they prey on the gullible.
If they actually told the truth which is,we don't do anything differently, we can't guarantee anything and we would like to be paid 25% for a first class or second class stamp,they wouldn't have many customers would they?

A claims management company who will keep churning and churning enquiries...they may even threaten questionable legal action in their desperation to get claims through. That is the only thing "Special" about them!

The implication that they have special arrangements and can, as a consequence, get a better result is in direct contravention of the FCA rulebook, namely CMCOB 3.2.6

It is hugely ironic that these cowboys purport to make a living out of finding fault with others when the reality is that they haven't got a clue about the rules themselves.
