Will my ESA claim be sanctioned?

Hi everyone I was wondering if anyone could advise me please. I was off work sick for a number of months and have recently resigned from my job. After my ssp had been exhausted I went onto esa whilst still employed although off sick. After recently resigning from my job I have wrote to dwp informing them of the change of circumstance that I’m no longer in employment. My question is will I now be sanctioned because I have left my job or will I continue to be able to claim esa as I have been doing without facing a sanction?. Any information would be greatly appreciated thank you.
