Gas Card from Boost Never Arriving
Hello guys.
Exactly 1 month ago I moved home and I'm currently on PAYG meters. However, there are a few issues which need to be sorted:
1. There is no gas card.
2. The boiler and oven are not working.
I've talked and written to Boost countless times to send a new gas card but they keep apologising for us not having received it and keep telling us they're resending them. Last Friday was the third time I was told that this week a newly sent card should arrive via special delivery but I'm not holding my breath...
The boiler and oven issues might be connected to the missing gas card because there might be a gas "overflow" as Boost explained, but the landlord would not send an engineer to fix the problem as it may be connected with the gas card. Only when we have a working gas card can we assess for sure if the two are mutually connected...
Anyways, it looks like a horrible repeating circle but I was wondering if anyone else has had any similar experience? Gas cards not arriving? Being told you can't pick up one from the shop as they only send it to your home address? I find it really bizzare and can't put up with it anyomore. Which is why I'm switching to SSE (so I could also have the meters changed).
I'd appreciate any input on the subject. Oh, and it's not a post-related problem as I've been
getting all my mail without any issue - except mail from Boost, of course.
