    On one hand, there is no reason to rush out and cancel it straight away.
    On the other hand, if you've paid your final bill, there is no reason to leave the DD in place.

    Other than the fact if you have over paid on your final bill they can refund it back to your account still

    Direct Debit: we’ll pay the money straight into your bank account

    no Direct Debit: we'll send a cheque to your registered address
