Car parks using block paving

Hi
Has anyone successfully appealed where they have a received a PCN for not parking correctly within the markings of a bay or space? The area I parked is block paved. I am colour blind. Apparently the bays are marked by a different colour brick. Due to my colour blindness I cannot see these bricks. The rest of the car park is tarmac and has white (unrestricted) or blue (some restrictions like residents or disabled) painted lines on them.
Does this sound good reasons for an appeal or should I just pay the £25 now and not bother with appeal?

Is this a council issued PCN, or one from a private parking company? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Just appeal as per usual, then appeal through the other stages too of course, citing that the bays are not clearly marked. Get help from pepipoo:

You CANNOT pay and appeal, so just appeal, why not? Chances are very good in most cases. Pepipoo are the Council PCN experts, and win over 90% of cases, with lots of relevant knowledge. We tend to major in private parking charges here.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
