PPI on settled DMP

Options
Hi
I never claimed PPI as I was told that due to a having a debt management plan with Step change it would probably be unsuccessful. However I settled it over a year ago now, with my major debtor accepting a lump sum final payment. I have just been told that I might actually be able to claim, if indeed I did have PPI. I know it's cutting it very fine! I was on the DMP a while but do still have the account numbers for the original loans and cards even though it's way over 6 years ago.

I'm basically wondering, should I bother?

If you make a PPI complaint and it is upheld, then it can go against the debt that was written off as part of the agreed settlement.

I'm finishing my self-managed DMP, submitted two PPI complaints directly to the bank, both upheld. First payment received already, waiting on the second one.

    Just get your complaint in.
