NTK from TNC Parking Services via P4 Parking

Hi all

I have been through the both stickies at length and completed a quick search of the forumand found someone in Nottingham that sort of looked similar. I am pretty sure I know the deal but not confident enough to enact on it.

On 9th August I recieved what I beleive is a NTK letter from TNC Parking Services about an apparent PCN I had recieved and fixed to my vehicle via P4 Parking on 8th July. They talk about all the normal stuff about paying within 28 days and that my appeal should be made within 28 days to P4 parking and not them

The issue is 2 fold.

I never had a PCN fixed to my vehicle on that date although the vehicle may have been parked there.
I can not find my PCN to lodge an appeal on the P4Parking website using any reference number in the NTK letter.

I am guessing this a scam but wanted to know if I should just ignore or actively persue to cancel.

All the best

The NTK from TNC must give you a reference that will be the PCN number, otherwise how can any keeper appeal who never saw any PCN on the windscreen? I've never seen a NTK that does not give the PCN ref.

The NTK should have a reference number somewhere, and tell you how to appeal. If ANPR was used then there won't be a NTD.

    You should not ignore this.

What happened when the keeper complained to the landowner?

Don't forget to complain to your MP about this unregulated scam.

  • There are two refrence numbers on the NTK. TNC and the apparent PNC number, neither work on P4Parkings website, which is the only way to submit an appeal. I am in the process of writting to BPA.

OK but you can't email complaints to them now, has to be using their complaints form.

P4Parking are the PPC. TNC are debt collectors.

Did the driver give you the NTD and do you still have it?

Have you had a NTK from the PPC? If not then complain to the BPA and DVLA that you are being chased by debt collectors yet have never received a NTK.

Note that it is quite possible that the keeper knows nothing about the NTD because it may have been removed, never given, or the driver never mentioned it. Therefore your complaint to the BPA is about debt crawler letters and no NTK.

  • I have tried to appeal via P4 online appeal client. But can not find the PCN using either reference number provided by TNC.

I have found the following thread about the same development and will follow advice you provided

Try Steve Clark's email but don't be surprised if he points you to the complaints portal.
