OVO Dual Fuel Quote Error

Hi

I was querying in another thread what people are doing after the OVO two year fix ends and also said in the renewal email they only quote for electricity in a new contract not gas, even though I am dual fuel.

I just got this:


"Thank you for getting in touch.

Sorry you are not able to view your Gas renewal rates. This is a known error that we are in the process of fixing, you should be able to see them by your renewal date. I have included the gas rates for your consideration.

2 Year Fixed
Gas unit rate 3.16p per kwh
Standing charge 28.77p per day



Better Energy
Gas unit rate 3.03p per kwh
Standing charge 28.77p per day

(Incl VAT)"

....and the Cheap Energy Club figures make no sense to me:

the -ve sign means that it'snot a saving but it will cost you £167 more

Someone's bright idea to use a minus sign in this way when discussing savings!!? (and yes, I can see how it can be read but it is not immediately clear that I am saving £167 less than last year)
