If anyone is in the North and near a JTF warehouse they had Tardis' down to £14.00 + VAT yesterday.
And dont forget that all Dr Who is half price as part of the sainsburys "50% off all toys" deal! Flight control Tardis is only £7.490 -
I hooe I'm not too late but personal experience and that of another couple of friends is that the tardis is not worth the money. My daughter bought it with her christmas money last year and luckily only paid £22 but it has been the worst toy we have bought. It constantly falls apart and isn't robust at all.
Sorry to put a downer on things but not only my opinion but several friends too.If only I could stop finding good bargains on this site, I would save a fortune! :rotfl:0 -
That was meant to say
I HOPE...not hooe

I agree the Tardis does fall apart quite easily, but if it can be put i one place and not moved around all the time ours is fairly stable. Its a good toy though, larger than you would think and DD loves hers.
The other soloution is glue it together permenantly!0 -
I do agree with pulliptears that it could be glued together - you certainly wouldn't want to be putting it up and taking it down all the time. We haven't actually done that but will try it as it just stays in the bottom of the cupboard. Also agree that it is a pretty big toy so plenty of scope for quite a few figures to be played with on it.
If a way can be found to keep it together better then I would be much happier (and certainly if you can buy it at half price much like we did then a better buy).
DD loves her Dr who figures and loves the idea of the tardis so will definately try gluing it.If only I could stop finding good bargains on this site, I would save a fortune! :rotfl:0 -
Also £19.97 in tesco too at mo (well it is in my local tesco extra)0

waste of money its cardboardy rubbish that falls apart every 2 secs! You may walk and you may run
You leave your footprints all around the sun
And every time the storm and the soul wars come
You just keep on walking0 -
I have just seen the tardis on amazon for £16.99 which will get you free delivery but after reading the reviews on amazon I dont think it will stand up to the robust playing from my 5 year old which is a real shame as he would love this.

The point is, a child would love it regardless. It can be glued together for extra stability.
When I was a kid I adored my mousetrap game. My mother detested it because that was forever falling apart, but it was still one of my favorite childhood toys.0
