Hi,
Wonder if anyone had any experience with this.
I've never been lucky with combi boilers, have found them unreliable junk in all the houses I've lived in. When the last one was written off, I decided to try my hand at a bosch Worcester, thinking it might be a bit better.
After 18 months though, it's started to flick on and off with the water running, and even more worrying, it initially heats the water to 100c (it tells me that on the display) even though it shouldn't go past 60 - it feels like such a dangerous fault when you've got kids about. Surely a boiler should have safety devices to stop that happening?
It's under guarantee, and bosch are coming on Thursday.. But I've had to turn it off so it doesn't scold anyone.

Whatever it s there isn't anything you can do, but as you have found out WB aren't as good as they tell you, is Thursday really the earliest they can get to you, have you tried asking your installer if they could get them to you sooner ?I'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0 -
I've had a WB combi boiler for over 11 years (just checked installation date) and have only had one problem with it. Maybe I'm lucky, maybe the OP has been unlucky. Who knows.0
