    I got some Wilko ultra-cheap ones once and reckon they were about as good as not using any tablet at all, which is to say 'not good,' too.

    I'd check the manual to see how much water is used in the wash cycle, compared to a full size machine. If it's half, I'd use half a tablet (if I could be bothered... probably not for that small a saving), but if it's more than half I'd stick to a full tablet.
