Hi all, just wondered if anyone been through this.
Loved in the property for 3 years, when thing have needed fixing it’s been a nightmare.
But the. The house started to develop some serious problems, landlord ignored me and so went to council who made a 30 page improvement order. This should of all been completed over a year ago but nothing was. Council are slow to help. Landlord is not even in the country anymore, Property in this area is limited as I would of moved out years ago,
Anyway council have decided to revoke improvement order in favour of a prohibition order, has anyone been through this? So I have to move out I’m guessing? No ones explained anything.
How quick do you have to move out? Will anyone help me find somewhere if I can’t? I have children 2 of which have disabilities.so this isn’t going to be very fun.
If anyone has any pointers or info it would appreciate it thank you,

What does the prohibition order say?0 -
I can't believe that it's been impossible to find a new rental in over a year of looking. You need to just move ASAP.0

Not sure this is good advice.
The OP is a woman with 2 disabled kids. (Single mum?).
She may be better off staying put and trying to get herself pushed up the social housing priority list.
This could be the best chance she has of getting social housing.
Coming from a property classed as unfit should usually give her some points.0 -
Take the prohibition order to your local Housing Office and ask how they are going to help. You are being made homeless through no fault of your own so should be entitled to their help.0
