Some relaxing bath soak - for the end of the day.

A compass

I am very pleased with it, just need to get some walking socks and something to put it all in, I have seen a lightweight rucksack which folds into a pocket in poundland has anyone tried to use one for a holder? was thinking I could line it with cardboard maybe and leave it open with things sticking out?0 -
Just browsing and bumping up this old thread. Great ideas. I am a walker and would love a walkers hamper - think I will make one for my friend for Christmas.
I have a 50p plastic washing up brush, which lives in the car - it is for cleaning the soles of my boots out after a walk. No self respecting rambler should be without it.
If you budget couold stretch what about ramblers membership. Or check out for local walking groups in your area - and put their details in the hamper.Jane 21120 -
PS - what about navigation and map reading skills - essential for any walker. These can be found on the net and then printed - onto nice paper - and made into book.Jane 21120
