Switching to fixed deals and confusion at what we're really looking for

Whilst I'm a fan of quidco, I've never used them for an energy switch. The tantalisingly £100+ offers are for suppliers whose rates can easily be beaten by more than £100 without gambling on any tracking errors causing grief in actually getting the cashback (many months later).0

Because YOUR consumption in kWh of gas & electric is unique to YOU. You will only get an accurate annual comparison if you use actual kWh consumption on the comparison sites. Use your last full-year kWh in the boxes saying How Much Gas/Electric do you USE? on the comparison sites, not how much do you SPEND on g&e.
Very simple, and will give you the most accurate comparison - the maths on the site takes into account standing charges, unit (kWh) costs and VAT.......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple
