Best Accounts and Budgeting for Students

I'm going into first year and am planning my student account. I was planning on getting a santander account for the 3% interest and user high ratings.
I will be getting some money from scholarships, enough to cap the interest amount, so I was wondering if there is a way to open a similar second account that I could put the interest into and gain more interest atop of.
Also general advice on accounts and budgeting would be appreciated, anything you think might be useful to a first year uni student with no real financial experience.
Thanks!

You are over 18 so the Marcus savings account could be a possibility for your spare money.

If you are near a Virgin Store and wish to save regularly, you might try the branch regular saver - you have to open in store but thereafter you can use a standing order.
If you have a long term aim to buy a property and will have some spare cash to save, consider a LISA.
