Hi .I'm new here.
I’ve received two PCN’s recently for unauthorized parking in what appears to be private land. The amount due £100 on both.CPM says they’ve issued previous letters demanding £60 if paid in 14 days.Never happened on both occasions. No windscreen tickets were issued. They’ve misspelled my name and the photo evidences they hold is unclear .Photos of my car taken from the distance, not showing any lines, restrictions etc. only hardly visible “a” sign in the background. After 3 weeks I received a formal demand advising that the amount will increase to £160 if not paid in full. Can you please advise me what sort of action shall I take?

Look for the thread entitled "**NEWBIES!! PRIVATE PARKING TICKET? OLD OR NEW? **READ THESE FAQS FIRST!** Thankyou!" on the screen where you found the New Thread button earlier.
You need to be reading post #4 on that thread for comprehensive guidance on how to deal with debt collector's letters.0 -
Email a SAR to the DPO at UKCPM to flush out copies of all documents and pictures and data about you and your vehicle attaching a copy of the V5C as proof of ID under the GDPR0

Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams so consider complaining to your MP.
Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.
Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0
