Hello, I also read a lot but rarely post. We have horses as well and I batch cook and freeze.
It's so lovely to see the chat on here, what a lovely site/thread this is

Evening - and welcome to Smallholding and DIMW.

My shopping trip was a bit of pain as I forgot to buy eggs or biscuits and then CBA to go back out in the afternoon. I made a roasted cauliflower dish as DM cut out the recipe ages ago. It is roasted in oil with lemon juice and then covered with breadcrumbs with garlic and more oil. I was surprised at how tasty it was.

DM's had a bad day - such is the way of things now. Her crossword friend came so they sat for about three hours before having a game of Scrabble. They are both really expert at the game and take it very seriously.

I found myself nodding off this afternoon, first time in ages. Now I'm about to get in my jimjams and head for bed.
