Voluntry additional contributions & tax credits

Hi can anyone please help me. I have contacted a tax credits adviser via web chat but am very unclear on what I put down on our tax credits renewal form. My husband earns £21000 a year, pays £500 a month additional voluntary contributions, as well as 5% of his wage which I have ignored for tax credits. Do I add the tax relief onto his additional voluntary contributions which would make it £7500 or do I just deduct the £6000 from his wage? Hope this makes sense as my brain is now fizzing :o Many thanks in advance

Voluntary Contributions (FSAVCs) and contributions to Stakeholder pensions.
Enter the gross amount."
Gross includes tax relief - i.e £7,500 in your case from his Gross Annual Wage
