reclaiming PPI after IVA

Options
Was in an IVA which ended in 2016. Through the IVA company they have previously claimed back PPI and this money was distributed to my creditors. In July this year I updated my mortgage and only then realised that there was PPI still active on this account. I have since cancelled the PPI and am in the process of trying to claim a refund on this PPI. If the claim is successful will this money have to be paid in to the IVA bearing in mind that there are 3 years of PPI payments that have been made since my IVA ended.

Post IVA payments should go to you. Pre IVA payments should go to the IVA company.

However, worry about that if it happens. Most MPPI complaints fail. So, its jumping the gun a bit.

Was the PPI from this particular account already successfully refunded to the IVA? Generally speaking, a successful PPI complaint will result in the account being cancelled.

Realise that most mortgage PPI complaints fail and, if this was the case here, you won't get a refund any premiums you've paid since. You have also left your mortgage uninsured by cancelling.
