Balance and money transfer on one card question

I have an MBNA card with a 0% Balance transfer and 0% Money transfer with the money transfer due to end 3 months before the balance transfer.

Now due to the allocation of payments any payment I currently make goes towards the BT first.

My question is if I want to pay off the MT when the rate expires, when would be the best time to do this, on the day of expiry or afterwards?

I wouldn't want to pay £2k thinking i was paying off the MT and then find out one month later it went towards the BT and interest had been incurring in the meantime.

The time to pay it is as soon as the MT debt goes to your standard rate.

But a day or two of interest shouldn't be the end of the world.

I'll give MBNA a call to see when I should pay it. I'm less fussed about paying a day's interest than finding out the 2k went off the BT that wasn't due for another 3 months.
