P11d

Please help,

I have just received notification that my company did not send my 2018 P11D in to the HMRC. Which has left me with a significant tax bill. I understand it is my employers duty to send this in, and they can get fined for not doing so. Could anyone advise me what I should do. I have spoken to HR but they just seem to be giving me the merry go round.

Thanks in advance,

Maybe the have been fined - not your concern.

Not sure what advice you are hoping to get - you are the one that received the benefit and you are the one liable for the tax whether the P11d was late or not.

Have you checked HMRCs calculation? Is it correct?

There is no such thing as a "2018" P11D. Do you mean 2017:18 or 2018:19?

Your employer ot submitting a P11D is unlikely to leave you with a tax bill.

Can you explain exactly what has happened and what you have received from HMRC?
