Best printer inks?

I have a Canon IP8750, which is quite a nice photo printer, with one downside - it gobbles up ink at an alarming rate.
I can't afford the genuine ink so does anyone know what a good, reasonably priced alternative is?
Cheers.

If you Google for "Printer Ink" you'll find dozens of companies that sell compatible cartridges, for much less than the genuine ones. Over the years I've used Internet-Ink, CartridgePeople, IJTDirect and StinkyInk - never had any problems.

You'll probably get a warning pop up when you install the cartridge, warning of the dire consequences of not using genuine ink, but I've never experienced any problems.

So just Google for a few companies, and see which is cheapest for your particular model. Most of them have special offers on at various times, so it's worth shopping around.

Canon are pretty good when it comes to using compatible inks. As mentioned above I've used Colour Direct via Amazon who are a Which Best Buy ink provider: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Colour-Direct-Compatible-Cartridges-Replacement/dp/B01DDYQ8T6?ref_=bl_dp_s_web_1746036031&th=1
  • I was told of Just Ink and Paper on line some time ago and have always been well satisfied with service and the price.

Thanks for the recommendations of Colour Direct, I will certainly try them next time I need some ink.

I always struggle to find ink that has nice deep blacks - it tends to be washed out and grey in my experience.

I have just gone onto Amazon and added goods to the value of £22.97 to my basket. On the page with the goods, it says that you get free delivery on orders over £20, but on the basket page it says I need to add £1.02 of goods or else I have to pay £4 odd for delivery to my house - one of the items cannot be despatched to the Amazon locker.
    What is going on?????
It now wants to add £10.48 P&P, so that takes the total up to £33.45!!!
Are they having a laugh or something??
