Washing Dog Bed

I have a very large (too large to go in washing machine) dog bed not made of hard plastic but made of a soft material and waterproof.
It does not have any zips to take the cover off - if it did I could wash in the machine.
I have had it a number of years and is now very dirty.
How do I clean it?

Find a bigger machine, your local launderette for example., or wash it by hand.0

I wonder if you could carefully unpick the stitching, and put a zip on it?0

I wash my dog bed in the bath as it would be silly to expect the washing machine to properly clean something of that shape properly. After a rinse with water, I then pop it in the washing machine for a quick spin before hanging it on the line.0

I have a couple that I scrub with bio washing powder and then hose them down. The material is like waterproof canvas, but if the filling gets really wet they weigh a ton and take days to dry."Cheap", "Fast", "Right" -- pick two.0
