I like to keep 1 account per bank/BS open if I can, in order not to lose access to online banking and to the app, and in case they do an 'existing customers only' deal, which some BSs are doing..........
...........I don't expect to miss out on any switch offers, as I have basically done all of them and the T&Cs are increasingly excluding you if you have previously switched. I also have a feeling that switching offers will be far and few between in the future. I would of course be very happy if I was wrong on that
I'm in a similar position and I like to keep a few of the odds and sods open ( for the same reason as Colsten above) and also in case I should fall out with my main bank account holder (which is not beyond the realms of possibility!)
