Faulty Camera Flash

HI
This is my original post
I bought a Nikon Flash gun on 26 Sep 2007 from an online camera company based in London.
I used it all of three times then it stopped working on 14 Nov 20007. I emailed the company explaining that I had unfortunatly misslaid the receipt but have proof of purchase via my master card statement.
They told me send it back so they could check it. I was then told sorry we cannot help you as there is no garantee and you have no receipt.
Tried emailing since but they never reply. Anyone have any ideas as to what the best next move would be.
Took your advice and went through money claim supprise supprise they responded with a call the next day that a friend took for me asking for the original order number or they cannot do anything which I do not have anymore.
I noticed on the claim it required them to reply or pay up in 14 days do you think this is some sort of stalling tactic after all they have replied.
Thanks for any Help

I dont believe you need to supply the order number, supplying your name and address should be ample for them to find your order, you only need to supply proof of purchase (bank statement etc), it is just them bluffing trying to drag things out. Just out of interest who was it? You can private message me with the answer if you dont want to post it - I am interested as I am about to buy a Nikon flash and think I should avoid these people!!!!0
