Car park fine help

Hi

To my utter surprise have today received a car park fine from a car park company in Carlisle in July. The company is Initial Parking.

A ticket ticket was bought but of course as it was a few weeks ago that ticket has not been kept.

I am guessing the keeper can't really appeal without a ticket as evidence but no one who keeps their car tidy will keep a ticket for weeks!

Hi. I have read that section. However it doesn’t help if the evidence of the purchased ticket has not been kept because the driver likes to keep their car tidy.

More editing needed - use the third party as in "the driver did this", "the keeper did that"

You haven't grasped the scam that this industry represents yet have you!

In what way are those details of any importance to the appeal? The NEWBIES tread tells you that the details of the case don't matter.

Please read it again & tell us the name of the parking firm and if they are BPA or IPC.

Sorry the keeper suffers badly from anxiety so went straight into panic last night. Upon reading more the keeper used a template letter from the newbies thread on this forum to appeal to the company Initial Parking requesting partial registration numbers at the time in case registration number was incorrectly typed in as car reg number had to be entered to buy the ticket.
Initial have responded instantly rejecting the appeal.
Keeper has now filled in appeal form on POPLA but the main worry is without the proof of the now discarded ticket can Initial be forced to provide details of registration numbers entered at the time printed on the letter how can it be proved that a ticket was bought?

I really don't know why you are posting on this forum as clearly you are not looking for guidance.

Yes as Initial Parking have rejected the appeal in under 24 hours. I read the newbies thread as advised on here last night and followed the advice on that thread.
As stated I suffer badly with anxiety issues so when I was advised to read that thread rather than posting my own thread, I followed the advice on there because in the anxious state I took that as I was not going to be advised on this thread.

Of course you can, it is they who must produce evidence, not you. You really must read the sticklies/FAQs,

Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams so consider complaining to your MP.

Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.

Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies.

What did your POPLA appeal say? The entire thing please and not edited highlights.
