'Yours faithfully'!Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Hello again.
I've received a response from VCS. Unfortunately, they seem undeterred. Perhaps they didn't bother reading my letter, or they're simply not concerned by its contents.
The letter I've received appears to be the standard affair… 28 day period has expired and the driver's identity is still unknown etc. They have asked that I either name the driver or have the driver provide a statement (including full name and address) confirming that I will be representing them. Needless to say, I will not be indulging them.
I'd be grateful for advice on which action to take next:
Is it worth sending my previous letter regarding 'contesting jurisdiction' through IAS in the hope that someone will see sense? I understand this is not normally advised, but do many people lay out their intention to contest jurisdiction at this stage?
Or, should I just ignore everything now until I receive a summons to court? Is it stupid to ask them to skip the legal/bailiff threats and just take me to court if that is their intention? I am going to fight this case until the bitter end and see no point drawing it out.
Many thanks.0 -
You won't be receiving a 'summons to court'.
You can however ignore everything now until you receive either a Letter of Claim or official court correspondence.
Re-read post #2 of the NEWBIES thread to discover how to deal with those and if you have further questions then continue on this thread.0 -
