Cooker Matt Pan supports stains

Any advice or recommendations please. I have a gas cooker with 5 matt black pan supports. My problem is that unless they are put in the dishwasher daily they always stain, look grubby and the only way to remove fat splashes or marks is on high temperature dishwasher programme. The hob is fairly new - I have been looking at possibly having them enamelled with black gloss or painting them myself with heat tolerating black gloss paint. Any suggestions or product recommendations welcome. Anyone else have this problem?? Thank you..
