You need to keep everything in the one thread
You can see how busy this forum is
It would be impossible if everyone simply started a new thread at each development
Copy and paste the above into your original thread
Then use edit to remove the text in your post and replace it with something like duplicate thread please ignore
Then use edit/go advanced to change the thread title to read the same message and let this thread die0 -
You also need to respond to the LBC - the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, post #2 will provide information on that - by the 30 day deadline to deny there is any debt or liability to their client. In addition to sending an SAR as suggested in the newbie thread, is there anything else I should be doing?
A claim is likely to be issued shortly after your response or the 30 day deadline (whichever comes first). Will you have anyone receiving/looking after your post?Obviously I'm not going to pay but I am concerned a claim could be sent whilst I'm away and I'm unable to respond in time.
If you don't respond to a formal court claim within 19 days of issue, you're staring down both barrels of a CCJ with potential serious impact on your ability to raise mortgages, credit or loans for 6 years.
Once the claim is made, the juggernaut won't stop unless you defend the claim. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
