Incorrect time Initial parking Fistral Beach, Newquay

I've now joined the club for this awful parking company. We parked just after 6pm according to our phones (wife has iphone, I have S10), however my charge shows a few minutes before 6pm. Parking is free after 6pm, we waited a few minutes after 6 before entering the car park and even joked about giving it extra minutes because these automated parking companies are so dodgy.
Can I appeal this using the standard templates I've seen mentioned on other threads? My case seems slightly different to others I've read.

Do either of your phones have Google location tracking? Use either of them and say that was the phone in that car, and the tracking proves the timeline.
Or a dashcam from either car would do, as you entered together you could just say 'the car's dashcam proves we entered after 6pm'.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Gooogling suggests that the 'free' parking is from 6.30pm onwards but I'm sureit said 6pm on the board. If it's 6.30pm, is there any other defence?0
