Understanding My Final Gas & Electricity Bill
Hi,
I've recently switched Gas and Electricity provider.
The switch date was the 25th of July 2019 but on my final energy bill (attached below) it says how I have 'Balance from your last bill on 08 August 2019'.
I was with npower.
What is this balance that I owe and why is the date 08 August 2019 when my previous bill was on the 3rd May 2019 and I switched on the 25th July 2019?
I pay quarterly via cheque.
Thank You.

By itself the picture you have posted tells us almost nothing
-only that your final bill on Aug 8 was £75.10
Have you had confirmation from your new supplier that the switch has actually been completed - or did nPower put in an objection which delayed the processNever pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0 -

Hi liamp1
Thanks for your post.
When you request to switch supplier there's a 14 day cooling off period then the supply switches 3-5 working days after that. If you can message us using the details on our profile page with your full address, then we're happy to check the date(s) the supply left and make sure you're not overcharged for the period you were with us.
Kind regards
