MBNA Credit Card

Hi,
I took out an MBNA credit Card 7 years ago and all was well until 3 years ago when i had trouble with repayments. After receiving loads of calls from MBNA, i caught up with the repayments. Once i agreed with MBNA to catch up, i noticed on my monthly statements that my account facilities had been withdrawn. The question i have is can they still charge me monthly interest on an account that i cannot use, or should the interest charges have stopped when the account facilities were withdrawn leaving me to pay just the balance? Any advice would be gratefully appreciated.

Lenders charge you interest in return for the use of their money.

If you lent one of your customers a sum of money for 7 years, you would expect them to pay interest on the loan until the sum was repaid, wouldn't you?
