Credit Cover Premium

Options
Hi, I found some old credit card statements from N&P and Abbey National with what I thought was PPI they date from 1993 to 2000 so are covered by Santander. I submitted a claim but I am being told that as the statements have Credit Cover Premium or Credit Care Insurance (at 68p per £100) it is not PPI so I cannot claim.
Has anyone else come across this?
On double checking the N&P statements do refer to Credit Cover but the Abbey National statements have Payment Protection Premium so would appreciate any feedback.
Many thanks
Paul

You can complain about anything if you can show it was mis-sold. What complaint reason did you give? Who is telling you that you cannot complain? Remember that not all insurance is PPI, but it can still be mis-sold.

If the Bank refuse to consider your complaint, refer it to the Ombudsman,
