MKM kitchens?

Hi, does anyone have any experience of ordering kitchens through MKM?

We are going to speak to Howdens, but our builder apparently usually uses MKM, wondered if anyone had any experience of them. Our builder is fitting the kitchen as part of our extension.

MKM use Symphony Milano kitchens; they're on-par with Howdens in terms of cabinet quality.

Like all suppliers, there's a big variation in the quality of the cabinet doors in their range. If you're looking to compare, be careful to compare like-for-like.

One thing to be aware of is that trade kitchen suppliers often offer "rewards/kickbacks" to builders who bring customers to them, so builders tend to be loyal to certain suppliers.

If you fall in love with a Howdens door, there's no reason why your builder shouldn't be able to get you a price on the kitchen from them.

Builders fitting kitchens, keep me and my sons busy throughout the year. Some can fit ok, but most think they can.

Very pleased with work we have seen of his, so hopefully all will be ok!

He is passing on his discount to us.... but whether that is the full discount i do not know!

We are going to look at kitchens this weekend and see what we think.
