Had a few problems with AOL and iTunes and had to re-install both. Now all of a sudden all Internet pages are blank. The page loads but has no content, text or links.
Have tried using IE, but the same problem exists.
AOL Live help have guided me through serveral different fixes, but none have worked:- Rebuilding the AOL Adaptor, turning off my McAfee's firewall, changing the Internet settings etc....
One fix was to repair Internet Explorer, but I was told that you cant do this if you use Windows XP.
Can anyone please HELP ?????

Not quite true, but you will need your Windows disk,
Have a read of Doug Knows page here

Yes, nothing seems to work. I've tried so many fixes that I now appear to be having other problems with connection speed etc.....Some days you're the bird......and some days you're the statue :cool:0

If you are using a router, remove the AOL bloatware from your computer! If you are not using a router, ask them for one. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

Cheers Expresso - strange thing is that without doing anything my Internet Access was working fine on Saturday. BUT by Sunday I was experiencing the same problem as before with Blank pages apart from the title.
I have tried the above (as I use a router) but this has not solved the problem.
All started with a missing aol.dll file, where I couldn't even access the Internet. I was advised at the time to re-install AOL, but since then I've had loads of problems.
Anyone else know a fix?Some days you're the bird......and some days you're the statue :cool:0 -
When you get a blank page please right click on the page and select 'view page source'.
What do you see? Any code?0 -
I have been experiencing the same issues. I have tried various fixes (see my thread which CheekyMonkey has noted also http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=601346
Looking at the blank web sites, it is saying that the web site needs Javascript in order to load, but I checked my settings and Active Scripting is not disabled. I am wondering if an automatic update has corrupted IE.
I will have to have a go at rebuilding IE when I next return home.
Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!
