Yep, it was this - OUCH you PAID?? These are not fines!:I made a BIG mistake
...and not reading the NEWBIES thread which tells you with two appeal stages how to beat APCOA every single time, 100% certain win at POPLA stage unless they have a brain fart.I hurriedly paid the fine
YOU WIN every time, due to not telling them who was driving. This is so easy.
Now please edit and delete most of your post, to stop PPCs reading admissions. You told us who was driving. Remove it, as your case is identifiable by the amount of PCNs.
Then calm down and read the NEWBIES thread and appeal each & every one, as registered keeper (or is this a lease/hire/company car, as there seems to have been a delay in you getting these scam PCNs)?
Either way the NEWBIES thread has an appeal to get you a POPLA code, either as keeper or as hirer/lessee (NEVER DRIVER).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Some info
These are invoices, not fines
There are no traffic wardens on private car parks, just employees
Apcoa are BPA members who enforce parking contracts on private car parks like this one
Apcoa have 6 years to take unpaid invoices to civil court
Apcoa are not an authority, just a private company
Edit your posts and remove any idea of who parked, it was the Driver who parked on the day
Any paperwork came by post to the Keeper, so only use driver and keeper in your posts
Please separate your story by inserting paragraphs by using the return key, try to stick to the facts as well, a long story means the help you require is buried by the saga, meaning we don't know what you need or have lost the plot0 -
Forgive me but what do these terms mean:
Poplar
PPC
PCN
BPA

Please read the newbies faq sticky thread near the top of the forum0

You really need to rad the sticky thread first, that's why it's in capitals asking (begging) NEWBIES PLEASE READ THESE FAQS FIRST (before posting and certainly before rushing to pay scams)!
ALL acronyms are explained there to stop us getting slowed down by threads asking the basics. Please read it. This forum is too busy to do it like this, case by case.
I will NOT link to it for obvious reasons, given that my signature tells you where to click!

You do know that any ANPR ticket (PCN) has to be with you within 14 days to render the vehicle registered keeper liable? Only applies to keeper liability, not any admitted driver.
Looks like they missed the boat, but you will need to put some work in on here to read up about POFA and the 14 day rule.0 -
Everything you need to know about beating these claims is available on this and other forums and on the internet. Log in to peppipoo, legal beagles, Honest John, the Notomob, and CAG for a and get reading.
As you are facing claims of perhaps over £2,000 you would do well to get your head round the law. Your post number 4 appals me.
These companies are serious, and recently bankrupted a woman in Scotland. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
OP
You need to do more editing of your post to remove details of who was driving
The ppcs monitor this forum and can use posts in your thread against you in Court0
