Who was my mortgage provider

Options
Between 1989 and 1999, I owned a house. Although I have the address of the property, I can find no record of who I had the mortgage through. I have no old bank statements or letters from the mortgage provider. Can anyone advise how I can find this information as I want to use this information in a PPI enquiry? Thanks

Land Registry or your own archive.

It's getting late to start such research now...

In the meantime please don't post multiple duplicate threads about this across the forum...
  • Thanks. It's the first time I've posted here, so hadn't realised about not posting on duplicate threads. Sorry about that.

Also, most mortgages in the UK are arranged via estate agents, mortgage brokers and advisers. If yours was one of those then your lender would not set up any insurances as they leave those to the broker/adviser/agent. So, there would be no point finding out who the lender was.
