Good Morning all,
Might be a daft question, my girlfriend is swiss and we live with parents in England & Switzerland when we are not working abroad (we spent 8-10 months of the year working on cruises).
We are looking at purchasing a property in England I will get a Help to Buy ISA. Can she open a separate account and put down my parents address?

I would advise against putting down any false information on an application form - that is fraudulent and can get you into a whole bunch of hot water if it gets discovered. If when you are in the UK however you reside at your parent's home, then I would imagine that would be okay. You will also need documentation with this address on it - bank statements, utility bills, driver's licence, etc. You can both open and operate accounts independently (sole account) or jointly (joint account). By opening a joint account you will be financially linked, and both of you will be assessed when EITHER of you apply for credit down the line. The same thing will happen if you got a joint mortgage so it'll happen eventually anyway, but just wanted to make you aware regardless.0

She can easily open a mobile-only bank account with Starling Bank or Monzo, giving UK parents' address for card delivery and without need to verify it. Revolut might also be useful for multi-currency use, UK or Swiss address.Evolution, not revolution0
