    You seem a tad confused about all this, so just to clarify, once he stopped making the contractural payments, the original creditor would have defaulted the account, and passed it over to wescot, who are a debt collection agency, for them to manage.

    After an account defaults, it dosent matter what is paid after that point, the default was for breaking the original agreement, and will be updated as such on a monthly basis, it will be removed after 6 years as others have said.

    Nothing you do will remove this default unfortunatly, only time can do that.
