"Reason" drop down on appeal site

Hey there,
I am attempting to submit the templated appeal, however there is a drop down box for the "reason" for appeal which isn't mentioned in the newbie post and I can't find it anywhere on the forum. Which of these do I need to select? None of them actually apply to me and it won't allow me to leave it blank.
Thanks!

I would choose, "My vehicle was not in the car park at the time the contravention occurred," if you believe that no contravention occurred.
Which PPC please? Any other information you can give us such as country, location, type of car park, windscreen ticket or postal?

With more than 200 different car parking companies, each with their own version of either drop down boxes or lists for 'reasons for appeal', it should come as no surprise that the sticky couldn't possibly cover all permutations.I am attempting to submit the templated appeal, however there is a drop down box for the "reason" for appeal which isn't mentioned in the newbie post and I can't find it anywhere on the forum. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. How about The alleged offence did not occur
Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams so consider complaining to your MP.
Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.
Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
Apologies, it was VCS, at Southend Airport. It was also for stopping not parking and was a postal invoice.
Thanks all0 -
Have you checked to see if airport byelaws apply?
You should also be looking at other airport threads, especially any pertaining to Southend. Set the search criteria to Show Posts when you do.
You should also look up the Laura Jopson vs Homeguard Services case where the judge defined stopping as opposed to parking.
When you have done that, complain to the DVLA as parking scammers can only obtain keeper details using their KADOE agreement for a parking event, not for stopping.
In addition, you should complain to your MP about this unregulated scam.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.
